For their first session this year, the Creative Cooking Interest Group enjoyed a culinary demonstration and fantastic dinner at Salt and Pepper on Colborne Street East. Andres Rojas, Executive Chef, demonstrated the art of making some of the dishes which included: slow-cooked chuck beef ragu served with homemade fettuccine, grilled peach caprese salad and ricotta berry cake. Great fun!
CFUW members gathered at the home of Pat Clemons on beautiful Blue Lake for our annual Potluck Picnic. Those who wanted took a dip while the others enjoyed the scenery and the conversation. Dinner, as always, was a real treat! Thanks are extended to Pat for welcoming us to her lovely home.

CFUW Brantford has a new Biking Interest Group. On their first outing, seven members rode from Mt. Pleasant, south to the Norfolk County line…17 km in total. Contact Lynn Haylock for information if you are interested in the group.
The Dining Out Interest Group had a wonderful lunch at Yin’s Chinese Restaurant in Waterford on Friday, June 6. The food was great, the company fabulous.
