Ducks! (Look down in the water ….)

During the winter, our walking group spreads out to different venues. Some like to walk indoors at the Gretzky track in icy weather, while others like to walk through the woods. Three of us today walked on the dike and admired the ducks, the cardinals, and interesting and cute blue bird, and some impressively obedient dogs.
Our walkers on a glorious fall day!

It’s always a perfect day to walk with good friends and conversation!

Walking with a friend!
We had spectacular weather for walking today: no humidity, no mosquitoes, nice shade and great conversations. Plus we made a new friend. Here they are, hitch-hiking on Wendy B’s hat!

These American White Pelicans were photographed by CFUW Brantford member Janet K some 2 kms downstream from Wilkes Dam on June 26th.

Spring walking!

Wintry wonderland on our walk!
Our walking group is not deterred by cold. This morning, half of our group walked on the dike and the other half took the wintry trails. Here are some pics from the wintry trails. Thanks, Linda S!
